Hampshire Orthotics Ltd can supply safety footwear for every type of foot in every work environment. All safety footwear whether fully custom made, extra wide/extra deep ready made or adapted off the shelf conform to European EN-ISO 20345:2011 certification or British standard BS EN 20 345-1 . 

People with diabetes require additional protection because these feet have a higher risk of wounds and ulceration. Safety footwear for diabetics will have soft seam free linings and special insoles.

People with short wide feet will often wear everyday shoes which are a size or more too big in order to accommodate the width. However this should not be done with safety footwear because the toe protection cap must be positioned over the toes!

Your employee will be assessed and measured. In many cases orthopaedic ready made footwear will be the best option or adaptations to their normal safety footwear. However if your employee's feet are more unusually shaped then customised footwear will be required, made using custom lasts.  Transparent test shoes/boots may be needed to ensure best fit before the final footwear is manufactured. A quotation will be issued to the employer before any orders are made.
