At entrance and left gatehouse to Embley School. (Don't go to end destination using a SATNAV)
If coming from Bournemouth direction:
On the A31, continue until it becomes M27. Exit at junction 2. Take the first left onto the dual carriageway to big roundabout. There are Macdonalds and petrol services here. Take the last exit (which is signposted to Romsey).
Drive on for about 2 miles, then just as the dual carriageway ends, before the “Cromwell Arms” restaurant, turn left onto the A27, signposted to Whiteparish and Sherfield English.
1.3 miles up the road on the left is Embley School. This is just past Gardeners Lane. Turn into the drive of the school. East Gate Lodge is the gatehouse on the left. Go through the big black metal gates and immediately turn left through the wooden 7 bar gate and park in here.
If coming from London or Southampton: Exit the M3 at junction 13, following the sign to Bournemouth. This takes you onto the M27 westbound towards Bournemouth.
Exit the M27 at junction 2. Turn right (going back over the motorway) and take the dual carriageway to a big roundabout.

Head south from Salisbury on the A36. Turn left at the major traffic lights onto the A27, signposted to Romsey. Pass through the village of Sherfield English, go another mile or 2, climb the hill, past Embley Lane on the right. Embley school is on the right. Turn into the drive of the school. East Gate Lodge is the gatehouse on the left. Go through the big black metal gates and immediately turn left through the wooden 7 bar gate and park in here.
If coming from the south of Romsey:
From the A27 from the south, heading into Romsey, pass Romsey Rapids on your left.
At the first roundabout, turn left onto Bypass Road
Straight over the next roundabout
Over the river then next right onto the A27 to Salisbury (Salisbury Road)
